Haven does understand that people’s needs change and to address this they have some features included to change your booking. Unfortunately, making changes may cost more or may not be available. Remember that there’s also a minimum £20 admin fee for any changes you make. The simple and effective method to request any change is to call them as explained above. Remember few important points before you request to change for booking;

  • Changing requests are always processed and are subject to availability.
  • There will always be the administration charge.
  • After the changes have been made, your booking will be repriced and will reflect the current prices and offers. 
  • Prices can go up and down as per the market rates, availability, and regions.
  • You can add more guests to a booking or change a name on the booking, but this will require certain identification checks and will be subject to a £20 administration charge. 
  • You must remember that Haven won’t change dates from one calendar year to the next. 
  • Any changes made within 56 days of the start date of your holiday will be then considered as a cancellation. Haven will then if possible try to accommodate changes to your accommodation, package or holiday dates but this will again incur additional costs. 
  • If the changes you request aren’t available/possible and you don’t want to keep to the original booking, or you don’t want to bear the additional fees, this will be then counted as a cancellation.

Canceling Your Haven Booking If You Have Haven Holiday Protection

If you are canceling your Haven holiday with holiday protection, follow the below steps;

  1. Call them as soon as you can or, if you booked through a booking agent, quickly call your agent. 
  2. Your holiday will then be canceled. If you require a refund, then Haven may ask you to send written proof of why you need to cancel such as a doctor’s certification or court notification. If so, you will then have to send a scan or photocopy of the evidence to the Contact Form within 48 hours of our request and prior to your holiday start date. 
  3. If you have been asked for written proof of why you need to cancel, then wait for Haven to contact you back regarding any refund due and the amount (which may be reduced by bank charges). 
  4. Wait for the refund to be processed and completed (which may take up to 35 days). Cancellation charges are calculated from the date you request to cancel.

If you have Haven Holiday Protection and you are canceling because of sickness, redundancy, jury service or bereavement, the below will be the consequences;
